Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors has 60 locations throughout the tri-state area with multiple color multifunction and printing devices.
Printing Issues:
PFR was spending too much time and money processing invoices. The carrying cost for toner was increasing and not manageable. The company CFO needed a way to budget for supplies and service. They wanted a process in place to understand print volume and service history.
We Provided:
DocuSense did an analysis of the print volume and toner coverage from each of the 60 locations to get an accurate understanding of page cost. DocuSense purchased back from PFR all color printers in good working condition and replaced obsolete printers with new color printers. We developed a cost per page program with the cost of their devices being amortized for the contract term. The cost of the machines, toner and service was built into the cost per page. Supplies ordering was automated so that users received replacement toner as they used them; eliminating the need to order. Prudential now recieves one monthly invoice, detaling where each device is located and each device's printing volume. PFR was able to dramatically reduce the indirect costs managing the devices and of carrying inventory and ordering. PFR is currently projected to save over 1.2 million dollars in hard costs over the term of the contract.
